ABOUT ME

Fatemeh Roghaniha is a highly accomplished artist with an impressive career spanning nearly two decades. Her portfolio includes the creation and production of numerous artworks, alongside her role as an instructor, mentor, teaching, and nurturing the art of pottery to over 900 individuals across different generations, including many pottery instructors.

Her diverse interests encompass a wide spectrum of artistic pursuits, including fine arts, pottery, sculpting, candle making, carpet weaving, and various other forms of creative expression.

Born in 1985 in Tehran, Iran, Fatemeh’s passion for art dates back to her childhood. She actively pursued her interest by participating in summer programs and workshops in the field of art until she began her college studies. Despite initially following a different educational path, like many others, Fatemeh continued her formal education while her lifelong dream of becoming a professional pottery artist never wavered. In the absence of academic programs tailored for professionals in pottery and ceramics, she embarked on a self-directed journey, taking professional pottery classes and attending workshops while simultaneously pursuing her college education. Ultimately, she graduated with a degree in handicrafts. Consequently, much of her experience stems from personal trial and error.
